If your store runs on Logicmate, you have probably typed some version of this question into a search box: is there a customer management tool that connects to Logicmate POS? The short answer is yes. Current JewelMate builds connect to Clientbook directly, without a middleman, and once the connection is live your JewelMate clients, products, and sales become something your associates can act on from their phones.
This guide covers what Logicmate and JewelMate are, how the connection is built, what comes across and how fast, what changes on the floor, and the limits worth knowing first.
What Logicmate and JewelMate Are
Logic Mate Int., inc. is a jewelry software company based in Glendale, California, and its flagship product line is JewelMate Enterprise, which the Logicmate site writes as JM20 and JM Enterprise 20 and presents at the center of a wider lineup that also includes JMCRM-AI and JewelMate 365. There are two versions of the Enterprise product.
JewelMate Enterprise Retail is the jewelry POS. It handles inventory for finished pieces, raw material, and loose stones, point of sale with layaway conversion, pending repair tracking, one-click appraisal printing, diamond inventory management, customizable barcode tags, and accounts payable. It also carries complete customer purchase history and profiles.
JewelMate Enterprise Wholesale is the same backbone built for the wholesale side, with diamond search across your own stone inventory, memo handling, backorder reporting, commission splits between salespeople, and a database for daily platinum, silver, and gold markets.
Logicmate also sells custom development services. Their own page is direct about it: if you have very specific processes, their in-house programmers will build tools or screens to cover them. They do IT and software consulting, website development tied to your inventory, and hardware as well.
One thing is worth being clear about. JewelMate already has customer management in it, and Logicmate describes it as customer management perfected: look up a client by company name, phone number, name, or account number and see their purchase history. Logicmate also offers JMCRM-AI, a web app that adds customer registration, analytics, and integrated messaging over WhatsApp and SMS. Clientbook is a narrower tool aimed at one job: the associate-side clienteling loop, where the wishlist, the purchase history, the automated follow-up, and the conversation all live on the same client record, and where a sale rung up in JewelMate is what schedules the next touch. Stores run both because they answer different questions.
How the Clientbook and Logicmate Connection Works
Clientbook POS integrations come in two shapes. Some run through BIG (Buyers Intelligence Group), which collects data from your POS and passes it along on your behalf. Others connect straight to Clientbook with no middleman. Logicmate is in the second group: one of the integrations built by the POS to the Clientbook API, alongside The Edge, RAIN, and Shopkeeper. Your store authorizes the connection and Logicmate sends your data across. Which fields, if any, travel in the other direction is a question for onboarding, because it depends on your JewelMate version.
In practice, your store authorizes the connection, Logicmate does the work on their side and coordinates with your admin directly, and Clientbook validates what lands before your team goes live: client records, products and product images, sales history with usable categories, and associate assignments all get checked. Because the build happens on Logicmate's side, the go-live date is set with them rather than by Clientbook alone, so ask for a target date early.
The setup specifics for your store come from the onboarding team. There is no self-serve toggle for this one, and anyone who tells you there is a five-minute version is guessing.
What comes across
Clientbook POS integrations can bring over client profiles including spouse links, birthdays, and anniversaries, products and product images, sales transactions, repair and service transactions, and wishlists or collections. Not every integration supports every item, so ask during onboarding which of these your JewelMate version sends. The pieces validated on a Logicmate setup before go-live are your client list, your products and their images, and your sales history with categories attached.
How fast it moves
Client and product data syncs throughout the day. On a direct API integration like Logicmate, a product change usually shows up in Clientbook within about fifteen minutes, and rarely takes more than an hour or two even when a lot of data is moving.
Sales transactions are different. For Logicmate and most other POS integrations, sales are processed twice daily rather than the instant they ring up, a deliberate choice made for stability. That has one practical consequence, covered in the limitations below.
What Changes for Your Team Once the Data Is Flowing
Associates open a full profile instead of a blank one
The first thing a Logicmate store notices is that nobody has to go ask the computer in the back office anymore. An associate opens the Clientbook app and the client is already there with contact details, dates, and purchase history from JewelMate. Adorn saw 54 percent of associates clientele daily and 86 percent at least twice a week after rolling out Clientbook, and adoption holds like that for a simple reason: the app is useful the first time someone opens it, because the history is already in it.
Wishlists and product sharing from the floor
Products that come across from JewelMate, plus the vendor catalogs Clientbook carries, can be added to a client's wishlist or collection and texted straight to them with images. That is the move that turns a slow Tuesday into a sale: an associate sees the new arrival, remembers who wanted it, and sends the photo without leaving the floor.
Follow-up that fires off real JewelMate sales
Because sales come across from Logicmate, Clientbook sales triggers run on what actually happened at the register rather than on someone's memory. Post-purchase thank-yous, clean-and-check reminders on a cadence after a purchase date, and dormant-client outreach all run on that data. See how Clientbook automations work.
Associate performance you can actually see
Clientbook's leaderboard scores associates on clienteling actions like clients added, client calls, messages sent, and wishlists shared, so a manager can tell who is building relationships and who is waiting for the door to open. Paired with sales from JewelMate, coaching stops being about impressions.
Honest Limitations
Four things are worth knowing before you commit.
Your JewelMate version matters. Only certain versions can integrate. Current builds, JewelMate Enterprise 20 and JewelMate 20, which Logicmate writes as JM Enterprise 20 and JM20, are ready as they are. Older builds, including JM2000 and earlier, need an upgrade first. Whether that upgrade carries a cost is Logicmate's to answer, and it is a fair first question for them.
Sales arrive twice a day, not instantly. A sales trigger set to fire zero days after the sale will usually go out the next day, and your Sales Log and Sales Report will lag by a day. Client and product data still moves throughout the day.
Sales Opportunities do not sync anywhere. Opportunities are created and managed only in Clientbook and do not flow to or from any POS. A POS sale can still close one automatically if you link the opportunity type to a sales trigger, which is usually what people actually want.
Product recommendations depend on clean data. In Logicmate, the field called Vendor Model drives Clientbook's product recommendations. It needs to hold the exact vendor item ID, also called the vendor style number or manufacturer part number, and nothing else. One extra character and the system can match a bracelet to a ring.
Who This Pairing Fits Best
Logicmate stores that get the most out of Clientbook tend to look like one of three profiles.
Stores that run retail and wholesale. If you are on JewelMate Enterprise Wholesale as well as Retail, you have already chosen one vendor across both sides of the business. Clientbook does not disturb that. It sits on the retail side and leaves your POS as the source of truth for inventory and transactions.
Stores that have had Logicmate customize things. If their programmers built screens and processes around how you actually work, the last thing you want is a clienteling tool that expects you to change your POS. Clientbook reads from JewelMate and stays out of the way.
Stores with years of client history sitting unused. Goodman and Sons covered their full annual Clientbook subscription cost within the first month, and that kind of payback comes from reaching clients a store already had.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Clientbook connect to Logicmate directly or through BIG?
Current JewelMate builds connect directly. Logicmate is one of the POS systems built to the Clientbook API, so no middleman passes the data along. Plenty of other jewelry POS systems reach Clientbook through BIG instead, and some older Logicmate builds appear on that list as well, so if you are on an older version, confirm the path for your version with onboarding before you plan around it.
I run JewelMate, not Logicmate. Is that the same integration?
Yes. Logicmate is the company, and JewelMate is one of its products. A JewelMate store is onboarded exactly the same way as any other Logicmate store.
Why do my sales show up in Clientbook the next day?
Sales transactions for Logicmate and most other POS integrations are processed twice daily instead of in real time, which lets the data be validated before it lands. Client and product data still syncs throughout the day, so profiles stay current even when the sale posts the next morning.
Will my Clientbook Sales Opportunities show up in JewelMate?
No. Sales Opportunities are created and managed only in Clientbook and do not sync to any point of sale system. If opportunities are missing from your POS, the integration is working as designed and there is nothing to troubleshoot.
What happens if we switch POS systems later?
Clientbook has a migration process for exactly that, covering client records, clearing out old product data, and restoring information from the new system. Tell the support team before you switch and they will walk you through it. If you are weighing a specific system, we have written up how Clientbook reaches Adaptive through the BIG bridge and how it connects to Jewelry Shopkeeper.
